Pro Iowa supporters, we are thrilled to share exciting soccer news with you today!
This week, the Pro Iowa initiative announced Kyle Krause's intent to bring a professional women's soccer team to Central Iowa, alongside a USL Championship men's club, as a part of the Iowa Soccer Development's plans to build Iowa's first soccer-specific stadium downtown Des Moines.
The women's team, contingent on stadium construction, would participate in the USL's First Division Gainbridge Super League alongside nine other clubs already competing across the country.
